When a fire-breathing lizard with a cave full of treasure meets a poor little mouse with a mysterious sack, a very strange business deal takes place that will change everything. Liz & Pip is the story of a grumpy lizard wizard (with a bad back from sleeping on all his hoarded treasure) who, when confronted by a mouse, learns the importance of sharing and is healed. Told in humorous, slightly ‘twisted’ way, Liz & Pip is a modern parable for all ages, in rhyming verse with illustrations inspired by illuminated manuscripts.

Way to Go, Kid! is like The Little Engine That Could – meets – Zen Buddhism. It is a picture book about a young goat that follows her dream, and despite many obstacles, reaches the top of the proverbial mountain - in this instance, Mt. Fuji - because she believed in herself and her goal. Written in rhyming verse, it is about the perseverance and courage it takes to be yourself and follow your bliss.

The great king O-Shishiki would like to find a queen and bride, but none have been sensitive enough - that is until he meets Princess Mimosa, who left her kingdom having been accused of being 'too sensitive' by her wicked parents. When Mimosa undergoes a test devised by the king to prove her worth, O-Shishiki finds that he is the one that is insensitive! This is a retelling of The Princess & the Pea by Hans Christian Andersen. Still told in a classic fairytale style, the story has been expanded upon, and highlights the merits of being a sensitive person. It is given new life with beautiful illustrations that emerge onto the page from the mists of Japan.
